When working in QuickBooks Point of Sale, you may notice an important message in red at the bottom of your screen that reads: "IMPORTANT PRODUCT UPDATE FOR STORE EXCHANGE USERS (USING INTUIT SERVICE)"
Note: This change impacts if your POS version is lower than Release 12.0 R11. You can find your version under Help >> About QuickBooks Point of Sale.
On January 31st, 2018, Intuit is making critical changes to the Intuit Service tool (used to exchange information between Headquarters and remote stores). Update to the latest release by January 31 to keep using store exchange.
